The first step in thwe development of a new design is a nice and functional design. With the help of modern 3D CAD-software all different design proposals can be made and viewed. Also hand samles can be manufactuered (from all foil types) from small to medium size series (few pieces to approx. 5.000 pcs). All our mould-experience is guided directly into the product design, so that not only a good design is amde, but also the design can actually be produced. Also we work together with several design agencies. If you have any questions or need support with your product design, we are ready to help. We build moulds for the production of all well-known materials as PP, PET, PS, OPS etc. Our specialization is moulds with steel rule knives, where these knives cut the products from the foil, both in combined forming-cutting and seperate forming and cutting applications. For all large thermoform-machine builders like Illg, Kiefel, Gabler, TFT, Bellaform, GN etc. we build tools. Also in the development of specially designed adapting parts for flexible use of your machiney (for example Illig tool on Kiefel machine), dexter Mould Technology is in the forefront. One of the reasons for this is the fact that all moulds we deliver are run on our own Kiefel KMD 85 BFS. After the construction phase the design and features of the tool are discussed with the client for him to approve. Once this is done, the production will start. In our toolshop, the machines are 100% CAM controlled. Being milling machines (3 and 5-axis), turning machines, grinding machines and/ or eroding machines. After the production of all the seperate parts, in the assembly department the mould is assembled under the guidance of a team of experienced professionals. With the utmost care and under constant quality controll until the mould is finished and prepared for testing. After the production of the mould it does not stop. All moulds are tested and (when desired) approved on our KMD 85 BFS. Approval series or even production series (up to several millions pcs) can be produced easily after approval. With this a smooth and flawless integration of the new tool into your production can be assured. Also we can take care of the installation in your production. If desired including some instruction course for your employees, so that they can perform this by themselves in the future.
